What's on!

These events may or may not include participation with your dog!  These are topics and 'tasters' or 'courses' that we have selectively chosen based on our philosophies or core learning at K9 Connect.  Our presenters have been chosen for having the same principles as us and in line with what we believe to be so important to dogs and dog ownership!

15th Feb

Treibball Taster - Saturday 15th February 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Treiball is a fun and exciting sport that we can do with our dogs, particularly herding breeds.  In this sport, dogs are taught to gather and drive large exercise balls (think yoga balls) into a goal, working with their handler (human).

It is a wonderful outlet for busy herding breeds, perfect for suburbia where access to livestock is not readily available.

Not only is this a fun way to do something to engage your dog’s mind and provide stimulation, it's also a fabulous way to connect and embrace your dog’s natural working ability.

Our instructor, Kerrie has been teaching and training treiball since it's creating in the early 2000's. Kerrie has also competed in many online events with her Border Collies Solan and Sprocket.
