Our Beginners Tricks workshop​is a combination of FACE-TO-FACE group classes and ONLINE materials.  Offering 6 x 1 hour group classes (fortnightly) and 4 x online modules to access any time on any device to keep your training on the right track between classes.

Beginners Tricks starts building your repertoire of amazingness from the very start.  If there are some skills

You're probably considering this workshop because you have a dog that likes to pull like crazy on a walk and forgets that you are attached to the other end of the leash.

Often a dog pulling on the leash takes all the fun and enjoyment out of your walks.  In addition, we will also address some common manners training such as jumping up, remaining calm as another dog or person passes and so much more!

​This workshop offers 4 x 60 minute classes (fortnightly) along with online notes and videos to keep you on track with your training.

Racy Recalls looks at building your dog's desire to come when called.  There's nothing worse than calling and calling and getting no response from your dog, or a look toward you and then a walk/run off in the opposite direction.  Chasing your dog down for half an hour at the park is not how you want to be spending your precious time.  We look forward to creating a fun training adventure for you and your dog.

Throughout the course we will teach you all about games you can play to help build the bond with you and your dog.  It's a lifestyle change, so be prepared for the FUN!

When training a young dog, it is up to us to provide them a variety of new and positive experiences that help develop their understanding of training and problem solving concepts.  In doing this we can help build their confidence when approaching any new task or environment.  Dog training is about so much more than sits and drops.

In this workshop, we will work on building your dogs understanding of training by providing them some challenges: walking over different surfaces, body awareness, foot placement, and shifting from active movement to being calm and still.

This course is aimed for anyone wanting to develop the essential skills that help with all future training.  Our core skill sets will help your puppy/young dog be a better family member, will help your adult dog be considered for pet therapy work, or assist to set your dog up to be a champion competitor.

This course covers lots of fun exercises and confidence boosting games to help boost your dog's performance.  We will work in detail on criteria and show some tricks-of-the-trade that can tighten up overall understanding of what a training actually looks like.

Novice Rally is ideal for those who already have a handle on some basic obedience and basic heelwork / loose leash walking.  It is ideal for those who have completed our Beginners Rally Workshop and want to refine your knowledge of the sport and begin to join together the pieces and have a feel for your trial readiness.

 

We aim to build on your teamwork, understanding of each sign and ringcraft in preparation for entering a trial.  Even if you are not considering competition, this course is a great way to continue to build a bond and connection with your dog, and learn something new!

Our Advanced Tricks workshop ​is 6 x 1 hour group classes.

​

We will revise and tweak on skills learnt in Beginners Tricks.  We will see how these 'base foundation' skills can be used to extend further on fun and entertaining tricks for you to show off with with your dog.

Throughout the course we will teach you a great range of tricks with techniques to match your dog.  We also introduce dog training learning theory and psychology to make you understand the training process easier - you will constantly draw from these principles in every training session you have with your dog.
