New and unique to K9 Connect is our Stay & Train one-on-one training service.

This is the perfect option to help your dog get over the hurdle of learning to learn.  Your dog will be trained by one our very experienced trainers, while you watch (or squeeze in other life commitments like you would when attending your child’s swim session).

Stay & Train is great if you are unsure how to handle part of your training journey with your dog.

Our thirty-minute sessions will certainly satisfy your dog’s mental exercise.  Focussing on things like:

  • Obedience skills

  • General manners

  • Confidence, creativity and shaping

  • Social etiquette

Having a professional help set the ball rolling and show you how to teach a skill (with YOUR dog, not one they prepared earlier) is a great way to build and develop your dog’s skill set.  We have found that when both dog and handler are learning all about training together for the first time, the learning takes longer and sometimes usually ends up incomplete.  Having an experienced trainer train your dog the skills that you want, helps your dog reach the training goals quicker with better consolidation of the skill set.

Choose from a variety of behaviours – basic training to complex training issues.  Our trainers will be able to achieve success and then pass the relevant information onto you to continue the practise at home.

We believe that having your input into the session is vital.  Learning through observation is key along with knowing exactly what is taking place (rather than wondering what sort of training is happening behind closed doors).

Information on what to work on between sessions will be provided at the end of each lesson.

Stay & Train packages are available for 5 x sessions or 10 x sessions.

Book at different times as often as you like or lock in the same weekly day/time.

Stay and Train is available at our K9 Connect facility:

Wednesdays 1:30 - 5:00pm (final session starts at 4:30pm).
