We offer training solutions for a variety of behavioural and training issues.

K9 Connect offers positive reinforcement, science-based strategies to help you understand how to help your dog with their training and behaviour. We like to work with you to create an individualised plan specifically for your dog.

We have extensive experience both with general training as well as working through more complex behavioural issues such as fear, timidity, aggression and separation anxiety. Our expertise is unique having worked exclusively with Vets and Veterinary Behaviourists, helping develop training plans and behaviour modification programs for dogs with problem behaviours and mental health issues. We also focus on the education of pet owners, trainers and other professionals, developing their knowledge and understanding of pets and pet behaviour.

For this reason, our appointments usually begin with a sit-down chat, where we gather information about the issues you are having, what has already been attempted to address the issue and then start to piece together a treatment plan. Our goal is to help you better understand your pet, why they may be behaving the way they do, and of course the psychology behind it. From here, our following sessions are designed consolidate the treatment plan to help you practically apply the training methods discussed and taught.

In more recent times, we have also designed specialist workshops, like our one-of-a-kind Calm Your Farm Reactive dog series that help you work through some key behaviour concerns in a supportive community, focused around building understanding and success. Please click here to find out more!
